Second week in the life of a Sister Missionary

Hi everyone!!!

I can't believe it has been 2 weeks already!! Our days are so busy so they just fly by!! We get to our rooms at the end of the day and are wiped out with everything we have done during the day, yet we love each day and look forward to the next.

We continue to have more teaching opportunities, which have been so much fun! We learn so much from each teaching experience. Something Sister Ekstrom, our teacher, shared with us this week was to teach with personality. My Sisters and I have been thinking of what that means, but with an activity in class yesterday, I figured out that I add my personality to the lessons by sharing my testimony.

Something that adds to the crazy busyness is our dining has been moved to another building because there is a Mission President training happening in our cafeteria. So our food has been a lot of take-outs, and they don't have options anymore... no more salads. However the cool thing about this training going on is that there are lots–if not all–of General Authorities!! Sunday evening we saw Elder David A. Bednar!! Sadly we didn't get to shake his hand but we were able to get some pictures from our classroom. We are expecting one of them to be speaking this evening at the Devotional!

We got to welcome two new Districts Wednesday, which was so much fun!! They are full of energy and ready to learn–it has been so great getting to know them. Shout out to my Dad and Greg, six of these new Elders are going to Dallas Texas! We are looking forward to welcoming one District this week and to be Hosting (welcoming the new Sisters and Elders as they are dropped off and helping them get around) as well!!

We went to the Temple this morning, and took pictures as a District with our teachers. It will have been our last time attending while at the MTC, since next week I fly out to EDMONTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED, but also sad because the MTC is really an awesome place! Sister P and I are sad to be saying "Goodbye" to Sister A this coming Monday!!! The next email will probably come from the field!!

Thanks to all those who wrote me! Sorry if I don't get back, but I do appreciate hearing from you all!

Love you all!
